Slim Volumes

     

An unfortunate fellow called Slim
Wrote limericks down on a whim.
He wrote three or four,
Then a few thousand more.
The outlook is terribly grim.

For anyone who at any time has recited  'There was a young lady of ....' , this is the website that speaks volumes .... SLIM volumes.   So far, JOHN SLIM has produced five attractive books, together containing more than 5,650 original limericks of the 7,000-plus he has written.

His affliction struck after he had passed the age of 60. He now welcomes you to the evidence of a mis-spent dotage — a treasure house of original five-line verses to delight the devotee and surprise the uncertain.

If he survives to complete his preposterous project, the world of limericks will never be  the same again.
